Incredible experience and I will definitely return more often. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food. We went on a Thursday and there was live jazz. Attentive and welcoming staff. The carpaccio is definitely one of the best I've ever eaten.
I absolutely love this place! I came here for my birthday, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was 10 out of 10—absolutely delicious—and the service was just as amazing. We were lucky to have Paul B as our server, and he truly made our experience even more special with his kindness and attention to detail. The space itself is beautiful, with such a great ambiance that makes you want to stay and soak it all in. I highly, highly recommend Sogno—whether it’s for a celebration or just a night out, you need to come here. I can’t wait to go back!
We LOVE this place! We especially love that they incorporate pesto alot into their menu and it's fantastic pesto at that! Fresh pasta great drinks very quick and attentive service! And way more convenient than going into the north end for the the same if not better quality. This is on our list of new favorite restaurants! You won't regret it!
My husband and I reserved a table for an 11:30 AM birthday lunch on a Thursday during Boston Restaurant Week. We arrived a few minutes early, and upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and a friendly gentleman near the bar—later, we discovered he was the owner. Since the hostess needed a few moments to prepare our seating, we waited at the front, engaging in pleasant conversation that provided us with some background on the restaurant’s history. Once seated, our server Issa promptly welcomed us and offered drinks. We opted for water, as we were mindful of our calorie intake. Having already reviewed the Dine Out Boston Lunch menu, we were ready to order. My husband chose the mixed greens salad, the eggplant panini with fries, and the poached pear, while I ordered the mixed greens salad, rigatoni bolognese, and an affogato biscotti for dessert. As we waited for our meals, complimentary warm bread was served. Everything turned out to be delicious—the salad dressing was outstanding, and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. The bolognese had a creamy texture without being too heavy, the fries were perfectly crispy and hot, the eggplant panini was full of flavor, and the desserts were delightful. We enjoyed a lovely conversation with Issa during a relaxed lunch service, and we look forward to returning soon.
Wow!! Extremely impressive menu, staff, and restaurant! Our server Kevin treated our family like gold, and all the staff who took care of us were truly top-tier. Thank you all for making our night so fun and decadent! The food was incredible as well! I had the tagliatelle alla genovese and enjoyed every bite. I have to say, we were savoring the antipasti as if they were our full meals as well - truly, everything was excellent. I got the Bocca Al Lupo cocktail and loved it, the rest of the cocktail menu looked enticing too (and not just because i love a good cocktail haha). The desserts were also excellent! Seriously, amongst ourselves we had a wide sampling of what was on offer and we were all grateful to have gotten to try everything out. That's how a good meal should make you feel I think... grateful. I know I speak for my whole family when I say we are so grateful for the wonderful dinner we enjoyed at Sogno recently. The beautiful booth we were in was also quite a treat! The whole experience warmed our hearts, and if you go you will be giving it 5 stars easily! This is by far my favorite restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. This is genuine Italian atmosphere, food & drink. The service is excellent, and the food is to die for. This is my go to restaurant for my birthday dinner, and I go support it as much as I can. I would dine here every night if I could. If the owner reads this, please make Amatriciana a permanent menu item! See you seen Sogno
The best restaurant north of boston. Especially love the eggplant appetizer, the pesto bruschetta, Caesar, oysters, margarita pizza, and the burrata ravioli!!!
